The Kirkwood for Rodarte collaboration has resulted in some interesting footwear, including the autumn winter 2010 wax like heels. This season, the shoe designer, metaphorically climbs into Mulleavy’s childhood backyard and comes up with shoes inspired by wood paneling, the distinctive blue and white Chinese Ming dynasty porcelain, embossed leather and a plethora of brown tones.
The use of the Ming porcelain takes us into the wacky but genius thinking that is the Mulleavy mind frame.
What i love on this shoes is the unique hand carved heels.
